Diagnostic test

A PSLE Maths diagnostic that shows where the marks go

The first thing your child does after you join: a short timed paper across the PSLE topics. It finds the habits behind the lost marks and turns them into the week’s plan.

A timed paper: one question at a time, the timer at the top, booklets A and B and structured questions on the side
A timed paper, set out in the booklets of the 2026 PSLE, with the time left always in view.
What to expect

How it works for your child

Timed, like the real exam

One sitting, one go, with the timer always in view. Questions are set out as Booklet A, Booklet B and structured questions, as in the 2026 PSLE.

A result that names the habits

Not just a score. The marks are grouped by the habit that lost them, such as “stopped at one part in ratio”, with the marks each habit cost.

One next step

The result ends with the single most useful thing to do next: see why one question went wrong, then fix that habit.

It becomes the week’s plan

The habits it finds become your child’s practice for the days that follow, worst first.

A diagnostic result: the score, a bar per question, the habits behind the lost marks and the next step
The result: the score, every question, and the habits that cost the marks.
Questions parents ask

Diagnostic test, answered

How long is the diagnostic?

About 25 minutes for 25 marks, across the main PSLE Maths topics.

Can my child retake the diagnostic?

No. Like the real exam it is sat once, so the result is honest. Topic tests can be taken again.

What if my child does badly?

That is what it is for. Every lost mark becomes a habit to practise, and the home screen shows the plan for each day.
