What’s in every mock exam

Paper 170 minNo10 one-mark MCQ, 8 two-mark MCQ, 12 two-mark short answers50
Paper 280 minYes5 two-mark short answers, 10 structured questions of 3 to 5 marks50

Every mock follows this blueprint, so your child practises the timing, the mix and the calculator rules of the real exam. More on the 2026 format →

More than a score at the end

  • Every wrong answer explained. The right working step by step, with a bar model where it helps.
  • The habit behind it, named. “Fraction of a remainder” or “stopped at one unit”, not just “careless”.
  • Practice that follows. Short sets on each habit until your child gets it right three times in a row.
  • No marking for you. Results are ready when your child submits, and the weekly report tells you what changed.

Topic practice between papers

Alongside the mocks there are 2,838 questions across all 11 PSLE topics. Your child picks a topic, does 5 to 10 questions untimed, and can ask Knowbot, the maths tutor, when stuck. See every topic →

A sensible way to use mock papers

  • Start with a diagnostic paper to see which topics and habits cost the most.
  • Spend the next one or two weeks on short practice sets for those habits.
  • Sit a full mock, timed, in one sitting, the way the PSLE will feel.
  • Read the results together: which habits are fixed, which came back.

Questions parents ask

Are these past-year PSLE papers?

No. Every question is original, written to the PSLE Mathematics syllabus and set out in the 2026 paper format, with the same mix of question types and marks.

Are the mock exams timed?

Yes. Paper 1 runs for 70 minutes and Paper 2 for 80 minutes, as in the PSLE. Paper 2 opens once Paper 1 is done.

How are the papers marked?

Multiple-choice and short answers are marked straight away. Structured answers are marked for working, with method marks, and any answer the marking is not sure about is checked by a teacher.

Can my child try a paper for free?

Your child can try 3 PSLE questions free with no sign-up. The full papers come with the 7-day trial, which is S$4.99.

How many practice papers should my child do before the PSLE?

Fewer than most families think. A full mock is most useful once the habits it uncovers have been practised away. Between mocks, short topic sets on those habits move the score more than another paper.

A practice paper is only as good as what happens after it.

Three PSLE questions, free, no sign-up. You’ll see exactly where the marks went. Then 7 days of everything for S$4.99.
