- 38
- 25
- 47
- 36
Need a hint?
For each fraction, ask: is the numerator more than half of the denominator?
Worked answer
- Compare each fraction to 12.
- 38: 3 is less than half of 8 (which is 4), so 38 < 12.
- 25: 2 is less than half of 5 (which is 2.5), so 25 < 12.
- 47: 4 is more than half of 7 (which is 3.5), so 47 > 12.
- 36 = 12, so it is equal, not greater.
