- 7 kg
Need a hint?
Find the total amount of lentils first, then share it equally among the three people.
Worked answer
- Aisha and Boon each started with 27 kg × 29 = 6 kg.
- The total amount of lentils was 27 kg + 6 kg + 6 kg = 39 kg.
- Each person had 39 kg ÷ 3 = 13 kg at the end.
- Each of Aisha and Boon received 13 kg − 6 kg = 7 kg.
