Need a hint?
First find the total in Crate B. Then work backwards from the number in Crate A after the addition.
Worked answer
- Find the total number of fruits in Crate B: 13 + 9 = 22.
- Find the number of fruits in Crate A after the addition: 22 + 18 = 40.
- Subtract the 7 added apples: 40 − 7 = 33.
