A quarter circle has a radius of 14 cm. Find the perimeter of the quarter circle. (Take π = 227)
Need a hint?
The perimeter is the curved edge plus two straight edges. Each straight edge is a radius.
Worked answer
- Curved edge = 1/4 × 22/7 × 28 = 22 cm.
- Two straight edges = 14 + 14 = 28 cm.
- Perimeter = 22 + 28 = 50 cm.
Answer: 50 cm
